Two-Day Level 3 Award First Aid at Work (Re-Qualification) Course
QCF Level 3 Award
A first aider can attend a re-qualification course up to three months before the expiry of their current certificate and must have completed a re-qualification course within 28 days of the expiry date of their certificate. However the new certificate will be dated three years from the expiry date of the previous FAW certificate, in both cases. Candidates will be required to produce their current First Aid at Work Certificate on the first day of the course.
DESCRIPTION - This comprehensive two-day course covers a wide range of First Aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with an emergency situation with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way. It ensures the First Aider is still competent and safe plus updates them with any protocol changes.
This course will maintain the participant’s qualification to the highest level of First Aid, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. We would advise all businesses to download a copy of the HSE Approved Code of Practice, L74, 2009, to refer to for more information and guidance. (Click on this link to download the L74 http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/books/l74.htm)
